Here comes more!
This is a T-28 Trojan,by far my favorite warbird engine sound. The T-28 first flew in the late 1940s(well after World War II)and the last one was retired from the US Navy in the early 1980s.They were designed to replace the T-6 in the advanced training role and in the 1960s were armed with guns and rockets seeing combat service over Southeast Asia. The one in the photo is a rare "A" model that was used only by the US Air Force, the Navy flew later "B" and "C" models. The Frence also flew T-28s (known as Fennec) and used them in combat as well.Of all the "flyable" warbirds out there this is the one I would love to own.
