Rolling Stone Keith Richards will have a role in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At The World's End" Jerry Bruckheimer announced during a Disney press conference Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Rumors have swirled about the Richard's involvement in the lucrative franchise ever since star Johnny Depp went on record after the first film bowed saying he'd based the character of Jack Sparrow, at least partially, on the guitarist. But this is the first time anyone involved with the film has made a public announcement about the casting.
Details on Richards' character in the sequel, the third film in the series, were not available.
