The only place you can see the two SSTs together is at a museum in Germany and the only place to see a TU outside of Russia.Both have the drooping nose for takeoff and landing.Note the Tu has canards that retract at high speed.The Tu is also larger.
Great pictures, Joel! You can really see the difference. You know what their pointy noses remind me of? They remind me of the drawings in Mad Magazine of the Spy vs. Spy characters! haha
Wouldn't it be cool to fly in one? "Hey, let's go shopping at Harrod's in London tomorrow!" And you can be back home here in time for dinner!
I wonder what it feels like, flying in one? I mean the physical effects on passengers. I wonder if it feels different from flying on a regular commercial airliner. Oh well, guess I won't find out in this lifetime!

So true.Those are what I call time machines.
