Soo happy! A talented FS painter painted up Alphasim's F-89D Scorpion in 1956 Oxnard AFB (now Camarillo Airport)markings.Goes along nicely with the Point Mugu F7U-3M Cutlass already in my hanger(1950s as well).I still remember my grand-dad telling me about when he would watch the F-89s takeoff out of Oxnard AFB(Camarillo)and how they seemed to climb like a brick with wings.Also Camarillo High School took the name of the F-89 as the teams mascot,"Scorpions".It was a Air Force town at the time.
Man I miss that airport.
